The Ohio High School Bowling Coaches Association will recognize one boy and one girl from both a Division I and a Division II OHSAA high school as the Ohio High School "Bowler of the Year". Each of the 4 recipients of this award receives a plaque and a college scholarship administered through the USBC SMART Program. Candidates for this award are nominated by current season head coach members of the Association. Recipients are selected by Association Board Members. Scholarship funding comes from raffles conducted by Association Board Members throughout Ohio during the high school season.
2025-2026 applicants must be a member of a high school bowling team coached
by a 2025-2026 season "head coach" member of the Ohio High School Bowling Coaches Association.
